Omega is one such watch brand that has a prestigious history with some of the most prestigious events around the globe. Most people know this brand as the brand of James Bond. Few watches from the brand were used in the James Bond films in the 90s and still it the official brand for the sophisticated super agent. But the only credit for Omega is not being the multiuse tool for Bond. It has been used in some very serious purpose.

For example, in 1957, NASA used the Speedmaster Professional Chronograph for their space explosion. This is also known as the Moonwatch. With some exception, Omega has been the official time keeper of Olympics since 1932. The most sensitive events, like the sprint or swimming, are totally depended on the time counting by Omega. Beside the Olympics, their watches are widely used in several games including golf.

And of course James Bond is not the only hero who uses Omega. Michael Phelps, the American swimming hero is a brand ambassador of the brand. There are several Hollywood celebrities who also use Omega.
